The Church and Tradition upholds and venerates individuals who exemplify Christ on Earth as people who we should look to for inspiration & ask them to pray for us to Christ in Heaven.

A strong marriage creates strong children, which creates a strong family to be resiliate and prosperous in a fallen world. A refuge from the storms.
